- instrument / music / equipment records
- band communication
Website: https://www.mymusicoffice.com/
If you have trouble logging in, email Mr. Parker.
Google Chat
Students may be added to class-specific Google Chat groups using their school-managed NHCS accounts.
Google Chat is for students only. Parents do not have access to student Google Chat groups.
Important note: with the change from Google to Microsoft, we may transition to Microsoft Teams this year.
Student Materials
The Band Folder is the main resource page for everything students need.
Students should have:
- instrument in working condition
- reeds, valve oil, cork grease, sticks/mallets, or other instrument-specific supplies
- pencil
- black binder or organized folder system
- music brought to class consistently
Percussionists should have a personal stick bag and required sticks/mallets as assigned.

Concert attire is musician black.
All students wear all black for concerts. No colors, logos, or patterns.
Tops: black shirt, blouse, dress shirt, or dress-appropriate top. No sleeveless, strapless, halter, or crop tops.
Bottoms: black dress pants/slacks or knee-length-or-longer skirt/dress. No jeans, leggings, yoga pants, sweatpants, or shorts.

Red Band Shirt
All band members need the official red band shirt.
The red band shirt is used for pep rallies, community performances, parades, and informal events.
It can be purchased through the Band Shirts Store.
Parent Involvement
Parents are part of the success of the program.
Useful ways to help include:
- attend concerts and events
- help students keep dates on the family calendar
- encourage consistent practice
- support fundraising when possible
- volunteer for events, trips, hospitality, equipment, or booster work
All parents are connected to the Band Boosters simply by being part of the program.
